Warning - this post is not kid propriate

Anything that Dude thinks isn't appropriate for kids he says is, "not kid propriate" (pronounced pro-pree-ate). So here's your warning...this post may be offensive to some readers.

We went to the library today and Princess kept putting books into the bag. I tried to keep tabs on all the books that went in, but a few made it past my view. When we got to the check-out, I noticed a book titled, "Where Willy Went" with what looked like a whale on the cover. I thought, hum odd name, but then forgot about it. Later, I went to a baby shower and left the kids with Doctor. When I got home we had a conversation that went something like this:

Doctor: What's up with the Willy book?
Me: What?
Doctor: Have you read the Willy book?
Me: You mean the whale book?
Doctor: No, the little sperm book.
Me: What!?!?!
Doctor: Have you read it?
Me: What?!?!?
Doctor: (sarcastically) What kind of reading material are you providing for our children?

So, I find the book and read, "Where Willy Went...the Big Story of a Little Sperm." And then I notice the "whale" was another something that swims. YIKES!!! The girls had asked him to read it for their bed-time story. Good thing he noticed what it was before he read it, and was able to find something else for them to read. If you ever want a fictional account about the life of a sperm in order to teach your children about the facts of life, there is one available. Complete with drawings of the male/female anatomy and a picture of Mr. and Mrs. Browne "getting together." Long story short, I'll be much more careful the next time we go to the library.

This cracks me up!! I'm glad Doctor noticed before he actually read the story or you'd be getting a lot of questions about the baby growing in your belly! Thanks for the laugh.....and the library warning!
