Road Trip!

We had a fabulous spring break! It was so wonderful to have Doctor for a whole week. The highlight of the week was a road trip to an indoor water park. Our room was awesome! It had a "kid cabin" with bunk beds, a twin bed and its own T.V. The kids loved it! We also had a fireplace which was so nice after a day of swimming.

The kids' individual personalities really shined at the water park.

Dude was his adventurous self and he went down every slide and swam in every pool and had a blast.
Honey Bunch loved the little slides and spent most of her time going up the stairs and down the slide. Once she accidentally went down backwards and on her tummy. She loved it so much that she chose to go down that way the rest of the time.

Princess had a great time, too, but in her own way. She enjoyed watching everyone. There was a huge bucket that would fill with water and periodically drop on the people below.

She thought it was hilarious. Her favorite part was watching it dump on people. She even got brave enough at the end to stand underneath it.

The last day, Doctor surprised me with a pregnancy massage at the spa. It was heavenly! What a thoughtful husband I have.
Of course our trip included one trip to Subway, two trips to Burger King, two trips to Arby's, one trip to Wendy's and family tradition breakfast at IHOP. Our kids were thrilled to eat so much fast food, and Doctor and I were so grateful to eat real food again when we got home. We had so much fun that when we pulled into the drive-way, Honey Bunch shouted, "No home!" Hopefully our next trip will be sooner than later. :)
