Snow, Really?!

Here are some new pictures that were actually taken over a week ago.

Since these pics were taken, the water proofing has been done, and the plumbing/sewer is ready to go. Hopefully this week they will pour the basement floor and the garage. The work was unfortunately halted because of this...

It's birthday time, again!

Dude is seven!!! Since Dude was so bummed that Doctor wouldn't be home until after 10pm on his birthday, I told him that we could do whatever he wanted to celebrate. He requested a sleepover with his friends. It worked out to be a late night party with one friend sleeping over. As you can imagine with six 7 & 8 year olds, there was quite a bit of fart, puke, and Star Wars talk. And as you might not have imagined one poor little guy actually did puke. A lot. Poor guy had to go home early, but other than that little hiccup it was a great party! Dude had the time of his life. He and his best bud ended up falling asleep around 1am.

We celebrated as a family the next day with a trip to the Chinese Buffet, so chosen for the all-you-can-eat dessert bar. :) He was spoiled by his grandmas and grandpas as usual. Thanks everyone! (By the way, swinging sweethearts, the girls haven't taken off their jackets yet. They even wore them to church and to bed. Thanks so much!)

We took Dude's pics in Doctor's shirt, and since I'm a slacker and forgot, we did Honey Bunch's pics in my wedding dress, also.

We have a foundation! Yippee!!! They finished pouring it this afternoon, but I forgot my camera so these will have to do for now.

So funny story, when I was taking these pictures one of the guys hollered, "Watch your mouths guys! Keep it clean!" Then another guy said, "She's taking pictures not video, idiot!" I thought it was funny anyway. :)

Bowl-A-Rama

I LOVE to bowl. It is seriously one of my favorite past times. How, then, has it been 7 years since I have been bowling? I don't know. We took the kids for the first time this last weekend and had a blast. They didn't have any lanes available with bumpers, so we did without and used the ramp. Princess and Dude each got a spare and Honey Bunch got a strike! They're naturals. Poor Megaman was exhausted, but he didn't want to miss out in the action, so he watched with this expression. We will definitely be going again soon. Fun, Fun!

My Funny Valentines

The Monday before Valentine's Day, Princess began the process of deciding what to wear for the big day. By Tuesday morning she had it all figured out. She laid out her clothes like the were on a mannequin to wait for her big party at school. When the day finally arrived she got up at 5:30am in order to get dressed in her perfect outfit. Isn't she "so fashion?"

Megaman melted my heart for Valentine's Day when he learned to wave. It cracks me up because he watches himself wave like he's making sure he does it just right. Too cute!

Dude made some Valentine's for the whole family and he spent an entire week hiding them and making sure we didn't see them. On the actual day, he forgot to give them to us, so he ran out of his room at 9:30pm. They were fabulous valentines cards, worth the wait. :)

My awesome husband extraordinaire sent me a beautiful bouquet of tulips (my favorite flower). I'm such a lucky gal to be so loved!

Awwww!

Doctor's dad came for a visit this weekend. It was wonderful to see him, we had a blast. Thanks, grandpa! While he was here he took these pictures of Megaman. Oh my goodness, is he not SO adorable?
