I felt horrible! He had started organizing my shoes. I have such a sweet boy. Thanks, Dude, you rock. :)
And here is a picture of my other sweet boys.
Then Grandma gave each of the kids a dollar for the dollar store and Dude and Princess were talking about how there was a picture of George Washington on it. Honey Bunch came up and said that she got a dollar with a picture of "George Washing Machine." It was adorable!
Now for Princess. For Mother's Day at church the kids were given a book to fill out all about their moms. There were about 15 things to fill out. Princess' was completely blank except for one thing. "My mom likes to drink Pepsi!" Hilarious. I don't even drink Pepsi. :)
I had finished feeding Megaman, and I put him up on my shoulder to burp him. She asked me if he was done eating, and I said yes. She then told me I needed to "put the cap back on." (I hadn't had a chance to cover myself yet.)
Now for Dude. We went to the pediatrician for his annual check-up. The nurse showed him the eye chart and told him she was going to need him to read it for her. She pointed to a line and asked him to read it. He then told her it was too hard. She pointed to the next line up and he told her it was too hard. At this point I was panicking and thinking he was going to need glasses. She then pointed to the next line up. He then said something to the effect of, "jerpikzooejfo." He was actually trying to READ the eye chart. So funny. Once he realized he only needed to say the letters he did perfectly.
We were in the car the other day and a song came on called The River of Jordan. Dude began singing at the top of his lungs, "I crossed over the river of Norman."
This is the Mother's Day poem Dude wrote for me at school:
Mom
Cares
Loves Me
Wears Lipstick
Has Babies
Lets Me Vacuum
Sometimes Wears Flip Flops
I love her!
And here's the latest in the Dude Shower Concert Series (My favorite part is when he starts tapping his foot):
