Up, Up, Up the Ladder!

Dude earned his Bear in cub scouts in December. Way to go Dude!

Love this outift!

Honey Bunch loves to make statements with her clothes. On this particular day she wanted the world to see her as a flower. She is wearing floral print pants, a floral print skirt, a floral patterned shirt and a sweater with floral accents. She topped it off with a flower head band. Love it!

Scarves

I am not crafty at all, but my friend showed me how to make scarves using t-shirts. They are super cute and super easy. I showed the girls, and they each made one. Well, Princess started hers, but hasn't finished it yet.
Honey Bunch did hers all by herself!

What do your kids do in their spare time?

Mine do research papers and make posters. At least Princess and Dude do. Princess was bored on a Saturday so she made a poster and typed a research paper about Elephants. She color coded the poster to demonstrate the difference between fact and opinion.

Dude also made a poster about Reptiles. I didn't get a picture of it, but it was awesome as well.

Christmas

It wouldn't be February if I didn't post about Christmas, right? We had a wonderful one. On Christmas Eve Doctor humored me by letting us go caroling at a nursing home. We brought jingle bells and sang to the residents. So fun. After that, we decorated cookies for Santa. Then we came home and made our traditional homemade pizzas. So yummy! After that we reenacted the Christmas story and sang Christmas carols. Christmas morning we got up and saw what Santa brought then headed to church. It was a beautiful meeting. Then we came home and opened presents. We are all super spoiled, thanks to everyone. This is the first year that Dude used his money to buy us a present. He bought it at the school craft fair. It's an open vase with mistletoe in it. Thanks Dude!

Cutest Little Voices

Oh, so much to post, so little time. We had a wonderful Christmas that hopefully I will have to time to post about in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy these adorable voices! (I am just a little biased)

Star of the Week

Megaman was the Star of the Week at his preschool. He had a great time! He brought our dog, Lily, to show off and all the kids loved it. Then the next day he brought his Daddy! Doctor brought stuff from the O.R. to for the kids to have and it was so great. After his week was over all the kids wanted it to still be his week. His teacher told me that they are having a hard time understanding that Megaman isn't the permanent star of the week. :)

Sticky Situation

Princess had her 2nd grade music program. It took place at the OK coral and Bubble Gum Bart wanted to get rid of Christmas. It made for a "sticky situation." Princess was adorable. Unfortunately after the computer crash I lost the software to edit the songs. When I find the CD and can edit the video, I'll post some tidbits.

Thanksgiving

I know Christmas is a week away and I am just now posting about Thanksgiving. We had a very quiet but nice one. We set up our Christmas lights and decorations, ate a delicious turkey dinner and enjoyed the beautiful 60's weather. Here's some pics.

And here are some of our yummy desserts. I made the chocolates, and Doctor made the pie.
