Mother's Day

Doctor was out of town for the 6 weeks prior to Mother's Day but he made up for it by going out of his way to make it the best. The kids were super sweet, too!
It started during the week before when I received chocolates and roses!
Then Doctor got back into town at 3:30 Sunday morning. He slept for a few hours and then we were woken up by the girls who brought me breakfast in bed. They got me a bowl of cheerios, a bagel with cream cheese, and orange juice. Then Dude started hollering for Dad. Doctor was crazy exhausted so I got up to see what was going on. Dude had decided to fry an egg for me. He had gotten out our pancake griddle and cracked the egg on it. The problem? He didn't know how to get the egg off the griddle and was trying to use his fingers. Ouch! After teaching him how to use a spatula, I was treated to a fried egg.
I was asked to speak in church that day and was blessed to be able to talk about the wonderful mothers in my ancestry and their amazing examples. The best part? My sweet husband sat with the kids while I enjoyed sacrament meeting from the stand. :)
After church I was treated to a delicious roast dinner. Thanks for being so sweet guys, and for making me feel so loved!
