Dude and a gun - oh no? Oh yes!

Dude and I got to go to a Mother/Son Stampede this last week. We had such an awesome time. I loved being able to spend time just he and I. He's such a fun guy. They had all kinds of activities set up. We took a hayride to the fun and then the first thing he wanted to do was make s'mores. He roasted the marshmallows for us and he did a great job.
Then we were off to decorate pumpkins. Of course he turned his into a Star Wars character. :) After the pumpkins we watched the helicopter land. He even got to sit in the pilot seat.
He then raced his friends around the obstacle course.
After some hot dogs and chips it was off to the firing range. The wait time was 25 minutes, but he had fun in the line.
After a brief 30 second safety discussion he was firing his first be-be gun.
He was so proud of himself, and I have to admit that I was proud of myself for letting him do it. When we were driving home I asked him what his favorite part was. His reply? "Being with you, mom!" Aww shucks!!! Dude, I had so much fun, thanks for being you.

Dude definitely knows how to work the ladies...(I mean his mom). That looks like it was a lot of fun. Good job on letting him shoot a be-be gun. You are a lot better than I would be.
